UP has highest convictions in crimes against women: ADG
Uttar Pradesh's Additional Director General (ADG) for Law and Order, Prashant Kumar on March 19 said that the state has the highest number of convictions when it comes to crimes against women.
"Uttar Pradesh tops the list in number of convictions in connection with crimes against women.
In cases related to POCSO, convicts were awarded either a death penalty or life sentence," said ADG Kumar.
