Army Chief dedicates memorial to Kargil hero

Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General MM Naravane, dedicated a memorial to Param Vir Chakra awardee, late Captain Manoj Pandey, at his native village in Rura in UP's Sitapur on March 19.

General Naravane also met his family.

Captain Manoj Pandey had led multiple attacks during 'Operation Vijay'.

He assisted in capture of Khalubar, before he succumbed to his injures.
