Large number of people thronged Mumbai's Dadar market on the morning of March 19 amid rising COVID-19 cases.

Social distancing went for a toss in the vegetable market area.

COVID-19 norms were flouted as people were seen not wearing face masks.

In the last few days, COVID cases have surged in Maharashtra.

State reported 25,833 new COVID infections on March 18.
