Central Reserve Police Force Director General Kuldiep Singh said that opening door of a VIP is not a mandate instead it is out of courtesy.
"I have to get details about it but motive behind opening door is to see when it's right for VIP to step out, it's part of VIP security.
Important if done as part of security," said CRPF DG on the video.
