Rich or poor, no country immune to global disasters: PM Modi

Addressing the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure on March 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the two lessons which the pandemic has taught.

He said that pandemic has shown us how quickly it can spread across the world and he also highlighted that the world can unite to fight a common threat.

PM Modi said, "COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that in an inter-dependent and inter-connected world, no country- rich or poor, in the east or west, north or south- is immune to the effect of global disasters."
