'TMC's attempt to stir row with Mamata's injury backfired': Kailash Vijayvargiya
BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said TMC’s attempt to create controversy with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s injury has backfired.
The BJP leader added that the district administration as well as Election Commission have called the incident in Nandigram an accident.
“District administration, EC called it an accident, Mamata said she was pushed.
It is a controversy between governance and administration.
This attempt of stirring controversy and gaining sympathy has backfired.
Those (TMC) tried to gain sympathy using wrong means have been exposed,” he said.
The Bengal CM, who was admitted to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata, was discharged on March 12.
Mamata fell and suffered injuries after she was allegedly pushed by 4-5 unidentified people on March 10.
The TMC chief was on two-day visit to Purba Medinipur to file her nomination and campaign.
