Maha Shivratri: Artist creates miniature idols of Lord Shiva, 'Shivling'

An artist in Odisha's Ganjam district has made unique miniature idols of Lord Shiva and 'Shivling'.

Satya Narayan Maharana created this art on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.

The artist has carved Lord Shiva's smallest idols on wood, stone and chalk.

On wood, the sizes of idols are 5 mm, 1.5 cm, 2 cm and 4.2 cm and on stone it is 1.3 cm.

While speaking to media, artist Maharana said, "I have tried to make world's smallest idol of Lord Shiva.

I have made these using wood (5mm) and stone (1.3cm).

I have also made 'Shivling' of 7mm (stone) and 3mm (wood)."
