MoS Muraleedharan rebuts CM Vijayan's allegations on customs department

While speaking to ANI in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram on March 07, the Union Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Ministry, V Muraleedharan rebutted Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's allegations against customs department.

MoS Muraleedharan said, "Without verification, he asked why Customs filed an affidavit.

He should know that when Customs superintendent serves notice, it is natural that head of the agency will submit a counter." "He also said that smuggling increased after I became MoS in External Affairs, but he should know that it's not my job to look into smuggling cases, but Customs', which comes under the Union Finance Ministry," he added.
