Jalgaon hostel incident is baseless: Anil Deshmukh

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on March 04 while addressing the media rejected the claims that police officers were involved in an incident that took place in Jalgaon where women residing in a hostel were allegedly made to strip while dancing."A 6-member committee formed to probe the Jalgaon matter has submitted its report.

The report states that no such incident took place.

Only an entertainment program was organised there by the hostel inmates," said Anil Deshmukh.

He further claimed that the lady who had complained about the incident is mentally unstable.
