Delhi Police proactive in assisting senior citizens: CP Shrivastava
On the issue of security of senior citizens in the national capital, SN Shrivastava, Commissioner of Police, Delhi said that, a total of 39 thousand senior citizens are registered under Delhi Police Senior Citizen cell.
Recently we started a public relations campaign and sent public relation vehicles.
Through these, 600 more senior citizens have been registered.
The beat officers regularly visit and meet these senior citizens.
The Senior Citizen Cell talks to them and ensures help.
During the COVID period, they were especially taken care of as they could not get out of their house.
They could not get medicines and necessary goods.
So that too was fulfilled by police personnel.
