Watch: Priyanka Gandhi’s ‘Jhumur’ dance in Assam; prays at Kamakhya temple
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi visited the Kamakhya temple in Assam and offered prayers.
She was also seen taking part in the traditional ‘Jhumur’ dance with girls from the tea tribes in Lakhimpur, Assam.
Priyanka, who is on a 2-day visit to the state, said that the Congress is confident of putting up a good performance in the upcoming elections in the state.
Elections to the 126-member Assam assembly will be held in three phases.
The results will be declared on 2nd May 2021.
