Vaccination approach now 'demand-driven' instead of 'supply-driven': Govt official

Updating about the second phase of vaccination rollout starting from March, Chairman of Empowered Group, RS Sharma, on February 26 said that the government is now changing its approach of vaccination to "demand-driven" unlike the earlier approach which was "supply-driven".

"For second phase vaccination, starting March 1, people who want to be inoculated, they will have to register on CO-WIN platform.

Both online and on-the-spot registrations are available.

Vaccination will be free at government facility, and paid at private facility," said Chairman of Empowered Group
