They thought they got the Covid-19 vaccine. They were part of a trial instead

More than a dozen slum residents in Bhopal, India, say they thought they were being vaccinated for Covid-19.

They say they later discovered from local activists that some of them hadnโ€™t been given an approved vaccine and had unwittingly taken part in a Phase 3 clinical trial for Indiaโ€™s homegrown vaccine, Covaxin.
