Forest officials rescued two blackbucks that fell into a 30-feet-deep well while fighting in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 23.

The incident took place in the Bilehra region of the Sagar district.

Visuals show the rescue operation in full swing, with one deer injured from the fight.

The other healthy deer can be seen leaping up to try and escape, posing difficulties for the forest officials to rescue it.

However, as it steps on the net, the team pulls it up.

Following this, one of the forest officials descends into the well with the help of a ladder and helps the injured deer onto the net.

Then, the others stationed outside the well pull the animal to safety.

The officials pulled both deer to safety and freed the animals from the net.

The healthy deer was released back into the nearby forest, while the officials took the injured black deer to the district animal hospital.

It took the team nearly an hour and a half to rescue the duo.

The animal sustained horn wounds on its neck and was rushed to receive medical attention.
