Lakha Sidhana, the gangster turned activist who is wanted in connection with the violence in Delhi on Republic Day, was seen at a meeting in Punjab's Bathinda in support of the ongoing farmers' agitation.

Delhi police had earlier announced a reward of 1 lakh rupees for any information on Sidhana.

Protesters had clashed with the police during the violence on Republic day; some of the protesters had even reached the Red Fort and hoisted religious flags on its domes.

Farmers have been protesting at the different borders of the national capital since November 26 last year against the three newly enacted farm laws.
