Locals flout social distancing norms in Mumbai amid increase in COVID infections

People flout social distancing norms in Crawford market in Mumbai on February 22.

Police personnel distributed masks to those who were found without one.

A fine of Rs 200 was also imposed on people who broke COVID guidelines.

Announcement was also made at Crawford market urging people to wear a mask or legal action will be taken against them.

COVID cases have witnessed a sudden increase in several parts of the country including Maharashtra.
