Volleyball played indoors for the first time in Srinagar

In a bid to promote sports activities in the Kashmir Valley, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) has opened an indoor volleyball facility for the first time at Indoor Sports Hall Polo Ground in Srinagar.Sports activity in Jammu and Kashmir was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, as the Valley has resumed the games, the players are back on the field.

With the help of new multipurpose sports complex, these budding players can now hone their skills.

The players expressed gratitude to the government and the sports council for the great opportunity.

The hall is also providing facilities for judo, badminton, martial arts, and table tennis among others.
