Watch: TMC MLA’s house vandalised in WB’s Malda; cops probe incident

A TMC MLA in West Bengal’s Malda accused former minister and youth leader of vandalism.

Nihar Ranjan Ghosh accused a youth leader of the party of vandalizing his home.

The incident occurred on February 15 and was captured by several security cameras.

Ghosh said over 100 men barged into his home and vandalised his office.

He alleged that attackers were armed with iron rods and destroyed furniture.

Ghosh also alleged that stones were hurled at him but he escaped unhurt.

Officers from the Englishbazar police station rushed to the spot.

“We have received a complaint and a probe is on,” an officer from the police station said on condition of anonymity.
