PM Modi promises Assam people to establish medical, technical college in local language

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Asom Mala' programme in Assam's Sonitpur district.

This initiative will boost the state's road infrastructure and contribute to Assam's economic progress and improve connectivity.

The event is taking place at Dhekiajuli town of Sonitpur on February 07.

While addressing the event, PM Modi said, "It is my dream to ensure that every state has at least one medical college and one technical college that teaches in mother tongue." "I promise to people of Assam that when we come to power after the election, we will establish a medical and technical college in local language," PM added.
