Sitharaman, CM Sonowal attend 3rd phase of 'Assam Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Scheme'

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal attended the launch of third phase of 'Assam Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Scheme' in Guwahati on February 06.

Health Minister of the state, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma also attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Sitharaman said, "Situation of labourers working in tea gardens should change.

They must have home, water and food for their children."
