Retired soldier receives heartiest welcome by locals in MP

Locals in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch district have welcomed a soldier of Indian Army.

Retired Naik Vijay Bahadur Singh returned at his home after the retirement.

The locals of Jeerun Village laid out their palms for the soldier to walk on.

Vijay has served the nation for 17 years 26 days.

Speaking to ANI, Naik Vijay B Singh said, "I have served in the Indian Army for 17 years.

Today is a very proud moment for me by the gesture shown by the people." "I am humbled," he added.
