BLM inspired this young activist to run for office

The death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement inspired Brooklyn activist Chi Ossé to run for local office.

Says Ossé, “We talk about voting elected officials out that don’t represent our ideals and our values.

But we need to start talking about who we are voting in.”
