Man Makes 3D Printed Head-Guard For Blind Pomeranian Pet

A man is on a mission to stop his blind 18-year-old dog sienna bumping into walls.

Chad Lalande, from North Bay, Canada, noticed his pet Pomeranian was having trouble negotiating her home.

In December he got a 3D printer, and as an amateur 3D artist/designer, he set about creating a wearable solution.

So far he has gone through six prototypes, and now believes he's found a design that fits the small dog well.

"I am designing a medium/large version next for larger dogs," Chad says.
