Community Chips In To Help New Brunswick Artist Build Snow Dragon Sculpture

How cool is this?

It’s the work of artist Jean Pascal Brideau.The dragon reaches some 4 meters in height but Brideau told CBC he expects it to shrink.

The Caraquet, N.B.

Man typically builds snow sculptures for the community each winter.2020’s installations included a larger-than-life version of Habs' goalie, Carey Price, LEGO Batman Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen”, along with some of the gang from “Toy Story”.

But 2021’s dragon was a community effort, according to French-language newspaper L’Acadie Nouvelle, with support from the City of Caraquet and local businesses as well as volunteers with construction and even an art director.
