Meghalaya Guv urges govt, farmers to 'responsibly engage in talks'

Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik urged both the government and farmers to resolve the issue and "responsibly engage in talks." Governor Satya Pal Malik said, "I have come from a farmers' movement, I am a farmer myself, therefore I am well aware of their hardships and I feel it.

This protest needs to end as soon as possible in favour of the betterment of the country.

I urge the government to listen to their concerns, both sides should responsibly engage in talks."
