Snowfall in Srinagar pushes tourism sector

Tourism industry in JandK picked its pace as intense snowfall attracted visitors to Srinagar.

Tourists enjoyed snow-capped scenery at Mughal Garden.

"We came here before too but we have to admit the winter this year is pretty intense.

And the snow makes it a sight to behold.

We saw parts of the Dal Lake as frozen which I believe is a once in a lifetime occurrence," said a tourist.
