4 arrested for smuggling birds in WB's Durgapur

Four people were arrested in West Bengal's Durgapur in connection to birds smuggling.

Around 650 specimens of parakeets belonging to various species were seized from them.

The bus carrying the birds has been impounded and driver, conductor have been arrested.

Further probe is underway in this regard.
