Ex-vice president Hamid Ansari on Parliament impasse: 'It's getting ugly'

In the latest episode of On The Record, Hindustan Times’ Sunetra Choudhury speaks to former vice president Hamid Ansari on Parliament impasse.

Ansari said that the boycott of the President’s address by Opposition parties may be a symbolic move but the hostility between the ruling party and the opposition is becoming ‘ugly’.

This comes after leaders of 17 political parties said they will boycott President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to Parliament to express protest over the new agriculture laws.
