School board member and parents push GBAPS to use CARES Act funds for mental health services

In its Monday night board meeting, GBAPS said it has upwards of five million dollars worth of Coronavirus relief funds, which Sitnikau says are eligible to be used on mental health services for students.

And while many parents report their kids are struggling, she says the district doesn't know how to solve the problem of a lack of mental counseling services.
