Gino Recchia NBC26 Weather Forecast

After roughly 2-4 inches of snow that fell into this morning, the skies have cleared and it will remain mostly clear tonight as temperatures fall into the lower teens and the single digits with a light north to northeast wind around 5 to 10 mph.

Mostly sunny skies will start off our Monday.

However, as we head into the afternoon, skies will begin to thicken with cloud cover as a strong winter storm develops along the I-80 Corridor.

Temperatures will be in the mid 20s with a breezy northeast wind around 5 to 15 mph.

Monday night, there could be some light snow that scrapes our southern viewing area.

Although at this time the scenario looks low at this time.

Temperatures will fall into the upper teens.

There could be some light lake effect snow snow showers however that develop overnight.

Afterwords, it'll be back to a quiet stretch of weather for most of the work week.

I don't see any concerning changes in the weather pattern.

Temperatures will remain in the mid 20s for most of the work week.

By the weekend however, we will be getting above average with temperatures back near 30.

There's also a potential storm on Sunday that could bring more snow to the area.

Something certainly to monitor.
