'Beginning of the end of Covid-19': Harsh Vardhan on India's vaccination drive

Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that the vaccination drive is 'beginning of the end of covid-19'.

He reviewed the preparedness ahead of the Covid-19 vaccination drive in India.

"World's largest Covid vaccination program is starting.

PM Modi will launch the vaccination drive at 10.30 am.

He will wish for everybody’s better health.

We are fully ready, vaccination will be carried out at 3,006 places.

We can call this 'beginning of the end of Covid," Harsh Vardhan said.

Vaccines doses have reached states and UTs, as per health ministry.

In India, Covidshield and Covaxin have been approved for restricted use.

Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech are delivering Covishield and Covaxin respectively.

Five more vaccines are in the process of getting approval in India.

Health ministry assured that vaccines are safe for use.

Harsh Vardhan had earlier busted myths regarding vaccination.
