People celebrate 'Bhogali Bihu' festival in Guwahati

The locals celebrated 'Bhogali Bihu' festival in Assam's Guwahati with full fervour.

It was celebrated with joy and full happiness on January 14.

'Bhogali Bihu' is the harvest festival in Assam and is celebrated by the Assamese people in the local month of Magh.

Magh Bihu is also known as Bhogali Bihu and it is celebrated with community feasts after the annual harvest.

Bihu is considered as Assam's pride festival that identifies spirit and integrity.
