Less than 2.2 lakh active COVID cases in country: Union Health Ministry

During a press briefing on January 12, Union Health Ministry informed about the COVID number in the country.

Union Health Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan asserted that country now has less than 2.2 lakh active cases.

"Active cases continue to decline steadily in the country.

The active cases in the country are less than 2.2 lakhs.

Only two states have more than 50,000 active cases - Maharashtra and Kerala," said Union Health Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan.
