Farmers in and around Delhi are protesting from last 46 days against the farm laws.
Ahead of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's Kisan Mahapanchayat in Karnal, farmers held a protest at the venue on January 10.
In order to control the protestors, police used teargas at them but all failed.
Speaking to media in a press conference in Chandigarh on January 10, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar spoke on protest at his scheduled Kisan Mahapanchayat.
Khattar said, "Administration had spoken to their (protesting farmers) people yesterday (January 09).
They had agreed to hold a symbolic protest but no agitation.
Trusting them, administration had made all the preparations.
Over 5,000 people were present at the event today.
But some youth failed to keep their promise."
