Engineer turns into horticulturist after losing job in lockdown

COVID-19 pandemic induced lockdown left thousands jobless.

Odisha engineer Shanti Swarup Mishra was one of them.

Swarup was working in Bengaluru but after losing job he shifted to Odisha.

Not becoming a victim of the consequences, he turned into a horticulturist.

Mishra started his own seed processing unit and nursery.

Started with 4 coconut plants, Swarup has so far planted 2.5 lakh trees.

Shanti Swarup Mishra, now encourages youth to venture into business rather than jobs.
