Mini-hospital set up for farmers at Singhu Border

As farmers' prolonged protest against the Centre's three agricultural laws continues, an NGO has come forward to set up a temporary mini-hospital at the Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana), one of the protesting sites, for their convenience.

NGO's Avatar Singh said, "Ambulance used to be brought here frequently and patients had to be taken to Sonipat even for small emergencies.

So, we opened a hospital here." As all nine meetings between the farmer unions and the government failed to remove the ongoing deadlock, the protest entered 45th day on January 09.

Next meeting is scheduled for January 15.
