UP: Five dead after consuming spurious liquor in Bulandshahr
Five people died and 16 others fell ill after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at Jeetgarhi village in Bulandshahr district on Thursday night.
As many as four policemen were suspended after the incident came to light.
Police said people started falling ill after having liquor bought from a man named Kuldeep.
Victims were admitted to a hospital, where five of them have died till Friday morning.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued directions to initiate strict action against the accused.
