India's Neighbourhood First policy helped us during COVID-19: Sri Lankan FM

India's Neighbourhood First Policy has made positive impact on Sri Lanka's health sector and economy during COVID-19 crisis, said Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on January 06 during joint press conference by him and Indias' External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Colombo.

"On behalf of President of Sri Lanka, the government and people for Sri Lanka, I convey our profound gratitude to PM Modi, Indian government for the tremendous support India extended in the past several months to mitigate the adverse impact of the COVID pandemic.

India's Neighbourhood First Policy has made a positive impact on the health sector and economy during this period of unprecedented crisis," said Gunawardena.
