Twin Rivers program through Ivy Tech set to help high school students gain college credit

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.

(WTHI) - Juniors in high school can experience college while getting high school and college credit.

It's all thanks to the twin rivers program with ivy tech in terre haute.

The program gives students the chance to spend half a day on campus.

Classes include a variety of subjects..

Like agriculture, business, technology, and more!

Students are only responsible for the cost of books and technology fees.

Ivy tech says this a great opportunity for these young students.

2:33-2:41 "we know that employers are looking for those high skilled individuals.

So, it not only gives them the skills... it gives them a runway for a living wage."

The program is for students at linton-stockton, shakamak, sullivan, and north central high schools.
