‘Pakistan used drones to send arms & cash to Kashmir’: J&K DGP Dilbag Singh

Jammu & Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh has said that there has been a decrease in terror activities in the valley to the last two years.

Singh, however, added that Pakistan continues to attempt to create unrest in the valley and aid in infiltration of terrorists.

‘There has been a significant decline in terrorist-related incidents this year in comparison to 2018 and 2019.

There has been a slight increase in the number of people joining terrorist ranks in comparison to 2019.

However, the positive aspect is that 70 per cent of them were either eliminated or arrested,’ Singh said.

The top cop also said that Pakistan even used drones to send money and arms into the valley.

‘Pakistan had to rely on local recruits and they tried to supply weapons, explosive materials, and cash through drones, but most of these were foiled,’ Singh added.
