Night shelter to rescue homeless from cold weather in Delhi

As temperature continues to dip in the national capital, several homeless people were moved to night shelters in Kashmiri Gate area.

There are around total of 17 night shelters at Kashmiri Gate.

The capacity of night shelter has been reduced to 20 in order to maintain social distancing.

Project Manager of the night shelter, Shailander Singh said, "We have an isolation centre here, if any of them has any symptom we shift them there.

Along with food, contaminated water is also provided and a television has also been installed in these shelters to take care of their entertainment."
