'Humbling day': Actor Swara Bhasker joins protesting farmers at Singhu border
Actor Swara Bhasker has joined the league of Bollywood and Punjabi celebrities who have come out in support of protesting farmers.
Farmers have been protesting on Delhi borders against the Centre's new farm laws.
The actor took to Twitter and shared a few pictures from the protest site.
Pictures showed Swara in winter wear and a mask, sitting along with other women protesters.
Thousands of farmers have held demonstrations for several days at Delhi’s border points.
Protesting farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana, fear the laws will dismantle the minimum support price system, leaving them at the 'mercy' of big corporates.
