New York winter virus plan

Gov.

Andrew Cuomo and other state officials are working on a strategy to combat coronavirus this winter season.

The coronavirus.

Cuomo says he.... along with his team.... will be working on this plan throughout this weekend and into next week.

Cuomo says the state will continue using the approach of micro clusters to hone in on small ggraphic areashere vis cases a a particularproblemd factors like the hospitalization rate and the availability of icu beds to determine the location of the hot spots.

The governor says the winter plan will also look at ways to keep schools open...... evaluating a safe positivity rate..... as well as determining the levels of testing needed at schools over the winter months.

In a statement... the governor says in part quote: "the positivity goes up, more people get sick, mo ople into the hpital, morepeople goe people get intubated, and the death number goes up.
