Woman attempts self-immolation outside Odisha Assembly

A woman attempted self-immolation outside Odisha Assembly on November 24.

Police took her to a nearby hospital.

The woman and her husband alleged that police didn't take action over the alleged rape and killing of their 5-year-old daughter in July.

The state Assembly session is currently underway.
