Delhi’s air quality remains poor, IMD predicts higher pollution levels
Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in ‘poor category’ in several parts of Delhi and NCR.
AQI in Lodhi Road area was at 203, as per Central Pollution Control Board data.
CPCB data shows that Delhi’s overall air quality index (AQI) on Sunday was 274.
On November 22, India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned that pollution levels could rise in Delhi today.
Safar also predicted that AQI would deteriorate to the middle end of very poor.
Meanwhile, temperatures also dropped in most parts of northwest India.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of only 6.3 degrees Celsius.
