We had 4 straight days of temperatures either tying or breaking the record high.

Today's high temperature breaks the old record of 69 for the Fox Valley.

Skies will increase a tad with clouds tonight.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s with a steady south to southwest wind between 10-15 mph.

The arrival of rainfall has been pushed back for our Monday.

It looks like mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are in store now with temperatures rising to the lower 70s under another breezy day of southwest winds between 10-20 with gusts near 30.

Rainfall begins to move in overnight Monday with temperatures falling into the mid 50s.

Tuesday will be cooler steady rainfall and perhaps even a thunderstorm.

Highs will be in the lower 60s.

Rainfall totals are expected to be between a 0.5 -1.5 inches.

The monthly average for precipitation is 2.13" for the Fox Valley.

We could see more than half of it from one storm system.

Sunshine returns Wednesday, however it will be a cool day with highs in the mid 40s.

A weak front will push through Thursday night bringing a small risk of light rain showers.

Friday will be sunny with highs back in the lower 40s.

Another storm system is expected to move into the Midwest next weekend bringing another chance of some rain showers.
