Congress district president booked for sexual harassment: Orai's Circle Officer

Congress district president of Jalaun district in Uttar Pradesh, Anuj Mishra, has been booked for sexual harassment after a video in which he was being seen thrashed by two women went viral online, informed Santosh Kumar, Circle Officer of Orai city in Jalaun.

"A case of sexual harassment has been registered in the matter (Congress district president Anuj Mishra being beaten up by two women for allegedly sexually harassing them).

Both parties have known each other since years, we are investigating the case," Santosh said.

It is to be noted that Mishra has denied the allegations, saying he has never assaulted any girl in his life, while alleging "political conspiracy".
