Fire investigation fire.jpg investigators are still trying to determine what caused an apartment fire in lexington that sent two people and a child to the hospital.

The fire happened on fontaine road last night.

Firefighters say there was smoke and flames... in the entryway of the apartment when they arrived.

A man and a woman were taken to the hospital with significant burns... according to the lexington fire department.

The condition of the child has not been released.
