Crystal clear footage appears to show a UFO in the night sky
This crystal clear footage seems to show the moment a UFO appeared in the night sky above Hawaii. The strange sighting occurred outside Splasher's Grill in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, at 8.50pm last Saturday [Oct 24]. In the 28-second clip, several lights move through the sky as passers-by gasp in wonder. The source, who took the video and has asked to stay anonymous, insisted the strange constellation of moving lights was definitely not an aircraft. He added that he could not hear the sound of an airplane as the strange object moved overhead. "It was definitely a UFO," he said. "The thing shows up and everyone just panicked.
I'm very skeptical, but it doesn't look like any military tech. "It didn't sound like it had any propulsion system at all and it was pretty close to us." The source added that although he believes he has seen UFOs before, this is the first time he has been able to capture a sighting on film. "I've had a couple of sightings before but this is the only one on video." Reported UFO sightings have shot up during the coronavirus pandemic, with the National UFO Reporting Center hearing about 51 per cent more extraterrestrial encounters so far this year compared to the same period last year. The Pentagon announced in August that it was forming a new task force to investigate UFO sightings over US military bases. This announcement came as it was revealed that the Pentagon's once secret UFO hunting department continued to operate over the past decade despite claims that the unit had been disbanded in 2012.
