A couple was beaten mercilessly with sticks in Muzaffarnagar.
The husband and wife run a shop in a neighbourhood where drunken youths created a daily menace.
It is being reported that one of the boys had an altercation with the shop owner over money after which he rounded ip goons to beat the man and woman.
